2011 Softball Age Key is based on age as of December 31st, 2010

Shetland (T-Ball) 6 & under (4 years of age must turn 5 by April 30, 2010) Pinto (coach-pitch) – 8 and under Mustang Fast pitch – 10 and under Bronco Fast pitch – 12 and under Pony Fast pitch – 14 and under |

BVYA player protection policy in place for softball allowing returning Managers to protect some returning players
|

|
Playing up or down: If requested to play up a division, a player is only allowed to play up ONE division. Example: A second year Mustang player could play up in Bronco, but not Pony. No playing down is allowed. |

NEW! Shetland Division –If the numbers do not allow, all players will have the option to move to the baseball co-ed division or request a refund.

BVYA softball plays in an interlock with other area Pony Leagues
|
||
|
Players are furnished a visor, uniform shirt, and insurance and will play no less than 12 games, weather permitting. The league schedules weekly practices and home games are played at Thulemeyer Park or Schertz Ball Park.
