Scorekeeping clinic

 YOUR TEAM MUST PROVIDE A SCOREKEEPER FOR THE GAME

You have just arrived at your first game, sat down and got comfortable, and the coach is standing in front of the bleachers asking for a “scorekeeper” volunteer. ARE YOU READY?

At each game, the designated Home team must keep the official scorebook and the visiting team must operate the scoreboard.  This can be very critical in the game. We go by what the BOOK says, not the scoreboard.  Therefore, it is important that BOTH teams be represented at the score table. The coaches are NOT allowed to keep the score because they are coaching. We are holding two scorekeeping clinics this year prior to the season starting. Each team is encouraged to have a parent there. 

Parent questions regarding rules will be addressed as well.

March 22^nd (Monday) & March 24^th (Wednesday)

BVYA office Building at 401 Oak Street  

6:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. approx.

Both sessions are the same so attend the one most convenient
